CRAFTSMAN
革製鞄工場
More than half a century has passed since its establishment in 1952.
Stepping into the workshop of "Inose Co., Ltd." in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, the first thing that tickled my nose was the pleasant scent unique to a leather factory.
There, a classic, well-used machine and a polished wooden floor created an atmosphere that exuded an old, good Japanese "craftsman's sanctuary."
Inside the workshop, the quiet yet powerful sound of sewing machines and other machinery filled the air, and each individual seemed to be diligently carrying out their tasks.

—A workshop that marks time and refined craftsmanship—
In 2020, our former chairman, Shoichi Inose, was recognized for his significant contributions to the bag industry and received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette. His spirit of "refined craftsmanship" has been continuously passed down from veterans who have been with us for over half a century to younger generations who will lead the future. I believe this spirit manifests itself in the "presence of the product," something that cannot be replicated by machines alone in an era that solely pursues efficiency.

-Why We Created "MIYABI" Here-
Why did we insist so much on manufacturing in Inose for the second release of aucentic's flagship model, "aucentic Luxurious"?
There are three reasons.
1. Prioritizing "Aesthetics" Over Efficiency
The main material for "MIYABI" is "Waprolux," the world's finest leather from Weinheimer, Germany. Its beauty is unparalleled, but it also presents a certain challenge as it differs significantly from domestic leathers.
The artisans at Inose disregard efficiency, pouring their heart and soul into every stitch to bring out the best in this material.
They always sincerely address our detailed requests and, with their artisan pride, brought them to fruition.

2. The "Quietly Overwhelming Feeling" Born from Endless Trial and Error
The immense amount of time it took to complete. To achieve the ideal "quietly overwhelming feeling," we engaged in countless discussions with the artisans, meticulously refining every detail.
Auentic's philosophy is to "never consider the current stage perfect, but to always keep updating." This insatiable spirit of inquiry resonated deeply with Mr. Inose's approach to craftsmanship.

3. A shared desire to protect and preserve Japanese craftsmanship
Mr. Inose's goal of "providing stable work for craftsmen and ensuring Japanese techniques do not die out" aligns with aucentic's philosophy of delivering the best products to those who appreciate authenticity.
We believe that conveying the meticulousness and refined aesthetics of Japanese craftsmen through our products will help protect the future of Japanese manufacturing.

- Commitment to Materials -
"Miyabi" from aucentic's flagship "Luxurious" series is an exceptionally precious item, meticulously crafted over many years from design to manufacturing. It features Waprolux box calf leather from Weinheimer, Germany's premier tannery, and YKK's top-of-the-line "EXCELLA®" zippers. This product is a testament to passion and dedication, with no compromises made on the craftsmanship, materials, or parts.
