Our goal was to create a long wallet that exudes overwhelming dignity through its mere presence.
The "edge painting," which determines the beauty of the edges, took over three days, with repeated cycles of painting and sanding. The resulting uniform and highly durable edges extend the product's lifespan while creating a dignified appearance. Furthermore, the delicate stitch line, precisely "2mm from the edge"—a feat only achievable by skilled artisans—imparts an overwhelming sense of three-dimensionality and refinement to the product.
The interior is luxuriously crafted from fine-grained, smooth Italian leather with a moist texture.
Smooth leather, boasting a texture that clings to the fingertips, is used throughout, contrasting the hard beauty of the exterior Shard Lux with the soft sensuality of the interior.
It blends into daily life, yet subtly but surely radiates its presence.
