[Characteristics of Polycarbonate and Scratches/Discoloration During Use]
The body of this product is made of polycarbonate, which is lightweight and impact-resistant. While it fulfills the primary purpose of a suitcase, which is to "safely transport luggage," and is designed to withstand harsh transport environments, please understand the following points regarding the characteristics of the material and product before purchasing and using it.

Many things that appear to be "scratches" are "adhered dirt."
When the product rubs strongly against airport carousels, other luggage, or conveyor systems, marks that at first glance appear to be deep scratches may occur. However, most of these are "dirt" such as resin, rubber, or pigments from the other object adhering to the surface. These can be made less noticeable by gently rubbing them off with a soft cloth dampened with diluted neutral detergent, an eraser, or a product like "Geki-Ochi-kun." -
Regarding "white lines or streaks (whitening phenomenon)"
In rare cases, when the material deforms (flexes) due to localized strong impact or strong external pressure during use, a "whitening phenomenon" may occur where the surface slightly discolors into white lines due to changes in the molecular structure of the polycarbonate. This is due to the "escape (flexibility) to prevent cracking," which is unique to impact-resistant materials, and can occur even with a single use. However, it does not affect the strength of the product or its usability. -
It is not completely scratch-proof.
Although this product has a surface treatment that makes it less prone to scratches and less noticeable than general plastics, it is not a magical material that is completely scratch-proof. We hope you will enjoy the scratches and scuff marks that accumulate with each trip as "travel character (aging)," just as you would with an aluminum suitcase, which is unique to hard-shell suitcases.
