<※Important: Cashmere care>
Cashmere scarves can last for years if properly cared for, but they are made of a very delicate material, so proper care is important. After wearing, we recommend gently brushing with a cashmere brush. Also, avoid wearing it continuously and allow intervals between wearings to prevent pilling and ensure long-term enjoyment.

5 Care Tips for Cashmere
-
Rest it for several days after wearing it for one day.
When resting it, lay it flat in the shade and expose it to the wind. Airing it out helps remove odors.
-
Brush to smooth the nap after wearing ※1
In winter, when dryness and static electricity are common, fibers tend to attract dust more easily than necessary, and friction can disrupt them. If left unaddressed, this can lead to pilling and stains, so brush the nap the same day you wear it. To avoid damaging the fabric, use a soft brush made of natural animal hair, such as "pig bristles" or "horsehair." Horsehair is softer and therefore recommended.
Brushing not only removes dirt but also helps restore "luster" and "smoothness." By aligning the fibers, it reduces fuzzing and prevents pilling. Also, since cashmere is vulnerable to "moisture," it lasts longer if you care for it with a brush rather than dry cleaning.
It is said that European gentlemen, who are well-versed in care methods, rarely dry clean their cashmere garments. Always maintain your precious garments by brushing them regularly.
How to brush:
Step 1
Brush from all angles to loosen tangled fibers. This lifts fine dust and dirt embedded deep within the fibers.
Step 2
Carefully brush in one direction, following the grain of the fibers.
-
Wipe off dirt and sweat immediately.
Sweat can cause fading and discoloration. Also, if a stain occurs, it is not uncommon for your precious cashmere to suffer "moth damage."
How to deal with it:
Step 1
Wipe with a soft towel dampened with diluted neutral detergent.
Step 2
Wipe the area where detergent was applied with a water-dampened towel.
Step 3
Air dry in the shade, and once dry, use a brush to smooth the fibers. Make sure to lay it flat to dry to prevent it from losing its shape.
-
Countermeasures against "pilling" and "fuzzing"
When pilling occurs, never pull it; instead, cut it off with scissors. Pulling can damage the cashmere fabric itself.
-
Storage method
Always store natural materials like cashmere and wool with "moth repellent"! A tightly sealable clothing case that helps the moth repellent last longer is recommended.
-
Tips for putting it away
Since it wrinkles easily, avoid storing it without gaps. Layer thinner items on top of thicker, heavier knits. Generally, moth repellent ingredients are heavier than air, so placing them on top of clothing enhances their effectiveness (this may vary depending on the product, so please check the product's instructions).
